  5. Ch'ing Dynasty
  6. Diameter          21.3cm
  7.      This bronze-bodied 
  8. dish is designed in the 
  9. shape of 16 petals.  Eight 
  10. fluttering phoenixes against 
  11. a yellow ground occupy the 
  12. face of the dish, at whose 
  13. center are stylized  flowers  
  14. etched round and stained 
  15. in red.  The back of the dish 
  16. has a white  ground.   With 
  17. its elegant shape and bright 
  18. glaze colors, this is a fine 
  19. example of the later K'ang-
  20. hsi period.
